Activities for CVC words have always been something I have reached for in the classroom. My teaching career started in Kindergarten. Then I moved to First Grade after my first year. I taught the lowest readers in First Grade and spent a lot of time teaching foundational skills such as short vowels and CVC words. FREE St. Patrick’s Day Activity
Who doesn’t love a free St. Patrick’s Day activity for the classroom? When I was in the classroom, I would theme as much as I could around what ever holiday was the closest. In March, everything would be based on St. Patrick’s Day. We would do lucky charms math, leprechaun STEM activities, and pot of gold writing prompts. EVERYTHING was themed!
