I love Write the Room activities! They are a great way to get students moving around the classroom and practicing vocabulary, sight words, or spelling! I have created a set of 12 Valentine’s Day Write the Room task cards for your students to enjoy!
How to use a Write the Room Activity
It’s simple to get this center going! Cut out the cards, hang them around the classroom, give students copies of the recording sheets, then let them find and record the words from around the room! Moving around the classroom will keep them engaged in the work, and the vocabulary cards will expose them to words they might not be used to writing and spelling. Plus, with the Valentine Theme, students will love enjoying this activity during the month of February!
